Troy, New York earned its place in baseball history long before the modern game took shape. Founded in 1892, the Trojans competed in the Eastern League, representing a small city that had already contributed some of professional baseball's earliest memories. Troy punched above its weight, proving small cities belonged in organized ball.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
